The English translation of this term is „conversations”;
common to all pieces gathered here is the character of talking (different as they may otherwise be) – in a round of 3 (Trialog), as a duet (T_4_4), quartet (4 for 4), or in singing soliloquy as in the two songs on lyrics by Tom Mega.

The German translation of Colloquium, „Unterhaltung”, has a double meaning – the word also stands for „entertainment”. „Unterhaltungsmusik” thus is music for entertainment, differentiated from „serious” music. This music certainly is more serious, but you may feel entertained, if you like.
